WINE HISTORY

Plaka, also known as the “neighbourhood of the gods,” is the oldest neighbourhood of Athens. Walking on its paved narrow streets you get the feeling that you are travelling back in time. The origin of the name of the neighbourhood is unknown, although theories abound.

Milos is located at the southwestern edge of Cyclades and is the group’s fifth largest island. It has an area of 151 sq. km, a coastline of 126 km and there are 4,770 inhabitants. The strange shapesof its rocks, the beautiful colours, the ensnaring white sandy beaches and sculpted rocks are due  to the island’s volcanic terrain.

Floating in the Aegean Sea there are some of the most beautiful and famous islands in the world. Beaches with clear crystal waters, traditional villages, and a rich history on the other islands of the Aegean: all together they guarantee an island touring experience of a lifetime!

A surprisingly green island for the Cyclades, Sifnos offers a good variety of peace and quiet and things to do. The are quite good connections with other islands as well as the mainland from Sifnos.

The metro station and the underground train can be used to travel to the airport or to the Pireus port for accessing the Greek Islands. Sifnos, Naxos, Paros, Milos, Sikinos, Ios and Folegandros are all part of the Cyclades islands, located very close to each other and can be visited with a short trip. Ideal for Greek Island hopping!
